Week 6 Reflection

I found the postings on Identity theft quite interesting. For the last 10 years, I have been shredding my financial documents. I even shred the invitations for new credit cards or refinancing your mortgage. I am not sure this is enough. Companies should not rely on your complete or partial Social Security Number. For each company, there should be a special identification code.

I just recently subscribe to DirectTV. When they ask for my full SSN, I refused. They were able to do a credit check with only the last four digits of my SSN. I think it's just the convince of using your SSN. The only way this is going to change will be when the public demands a change.

I think our group project is going well. We are on schedule. I am hoping we can use Impatica to narrate the ppt. The next time we meet, I will propose the idea of narrating the ppt.
